Hello,

Ich heiße Andrew Tjahyadi (if you don’t know German, it means: my name is Andrew Tjahyadi).
My middle name is Win, so this is how the site got its name (andrew win, awin is the short version).
Photography is about capturing a unique moment and it has been my passion.

I am a hybrid type of photographer, using digital camera bodies and manual lenses. These days, electronic is so advanced; even a kid can take a great picture. Somehow, the complex calculation of shutter speed, aperture, and ISO are no longer there. You can take a great picture but it is not done by you. I personally the enjoyment of using manual lenses with digital camera bodies (films are expensive, ya know…) as I am a noob who tries hard to be a great photographer (less computer). In addition, I love coding, snowboarding, playing games, hiking, camping, travelling and trying different kinds of food. I currently live in Silicon Valley, CA, so if you are in the bay area, just let me know if you need anything.
